Refer with Confidence

Refer with Confidence

We understand how critical accurate financial reports are - both to the business and to the banker. You'll want the books to be both up to date and accurate.  And you'll want to feel confident that your client isn't going to run afoul of the IRS by being aggressive with the tax deductions.

If you refer a customer to Fulton & Kozak, you (and the lending committee) can have confidence in the financial statements and tax returns we prepare.

Other CPAs are a surprisingly common referral source for Fulton & Kozak.

We'll hear from other CPAs when

  • A couple is getting a divorce and the CPA needs to refer the ex-spouse to another CPA
  • A small business return is needed and the referring CPA prefers to do individual tax returns
  • The CPA is getting ready to retire and wants to know their clients are taken care of
  • The business client is slow to provide information and the CPA can't accommodate the missed deadlines
  • The client has new accounting needs that are beyond the scope of the CPA firm, e.g., audit and internal controls guidance.

The CPAs who refer to Fulton & Kozak appreciate the fact that we'll stay in our lane. If the CPA refers the business tax works but keeps the individual tax work, we respect and honor that relationship.

Financial advisors want to make sure their clients aren't shocked when tax time rolls around.

As clients make decisions to sell stock, take distributions or make other decisions that could impact their reportable income, Financial Advisors reach out to us for advice on the impact of those decisions.

If you refer a client to Fulton & Kozak, we will provide realistic projections based on the information provided without offering guidance on the situation itself.

We will stay in our lane.
